Petzl String

Sling protector that holds the carabiner in place.

The STRING serves two functions: it holds the rope end carabiner in place on the rope end of a quickdraw and it protects a relatively large area of the sling against wear.

• STRING XS for webbing up to 10mm wide
• STRING M for webbing 15  - 20mm wide
• STRING L for webbing 12 - 20mm wide
• WARNING: Do not use String on an open sling - only use on a quickdraw sling or "dogbone". Incorrect use has resulted in death.
