Lots of climbers use something similar, but these are small & light and the biners can't spin. Nice.

If the first bolt is high enough to stickclip, consider using this with a pair of locking biners (twist or tri lock on clipping end and a screwgate on the rope end). Works with tri-locks, twist-locks and most full size snap gates.
