A choice of 2 lengths
Steel or Stainless Steel.
Designed for three way loading.
8mm recommended for attaching chain to rap hangers.
10mm quite useful as the lower-off on the ends of the chain.
Steel or Stainless Steel.
The 6mm or 7mm make great bail biners and the 8mm is often used to connect to eye bolts, or adjust the length of chain.
Steel or Stainless Steel.
Curved shape allows smooth connection. Stocking both plated and stainless steel.
Allows for a 90 degree change.
NB: These are small and take some getting used to.
Buy them loose, or add the two extra colours that aren't in the set.
Lots of climbers use something similar, but these are small & light and the biners can't spin. Nice.
If the first bolt is high enough to stickclip, consider using this with a pair of locking biners (twist or tri lock on clipping end and a screwgate on the rope end). Works with tri-locks, twist-locks and most full size snapagtes.
The ball lock is far easier to use one handed than the triact lock.
I use one to connect with a Tibloc etc, as I can get my whole hand in it.
A fool-proof version of the screwgate.
Quick opening, useful for lanyards etc.
Impossible to fault as a simple belay carabiner, not too big, not too small, perfect size and the red visual open-gate warning is the icing on the cake.
Editor's Choice Super Topo.
Nice and deep, new model.
Gives more racking space - seen a few rock climbers with them.
A great sports draw, choice of two colours - blue or violet.
A good quality entry level draw. Available in two lengths in blue and one length in violet.
A large carabiner with a snag free opening, great for sport climbing.
Large carabiner with a snag free opening, great for sport climbing.
The ideal replacement quickdraw sling, comes in three lengths - 11, 17 and 25cm. The tapered design allows for easier grabbing if you're working a route.
Easier to open than a triact lock, but needs to be kept clean.
A nice screwgate to match with your pulley.
The carabiner I use for my Grigri, super safe, can't undo or unclip, which can happen with ordinary screwgates.
The 18mm pulley sheave is a lot bigger than the DMM Revolver, it is also heavier. Available with a triple action gate, or a snap gate.
I like this one, a nice small carabiner, note the cord hole.
A super safe version of the screwgate carabiner. Note the cord hole.
The twist lock is becoming popular for safetys. Note the cord hole.
Spirit bent gates individually, or in a multipack of 6. Match them with your BD or DMM cams.
I've had Spirit draws for over 20 years and the gate action is still strong.
The perfect personal safety carabiner, nice and small, will go through any chain link, with the red open-gate visual warning.
Petzl make the best rubber sling keeper out there.
A three action locking carabiner that is much easier to use with one hand than a triact-lock.
Popular with those who like their belay biner large. Make a great anchor point on big walls or muilt-pitching with a group.
A safer version of the William Screw-lock.
Made from stainless steel and made to last. Clips and unclips draws. I think this is one of the best stick clips I've used, screws onto most poles.
