Petzl Club 10mm x 60m Semi Static

Petzl Club
Bryce’s take:

A thicker version of the Push. Really well priced; save your expensive lead rope for leading. I've used semi static ropes for top roping and working routes top down and the pluses way out number the negatives. NOTE: Petzl only recommend this rope for caving & canyoning or as a fixed line. NOT for lead climbing.

Features:

Semi-static 10 mm diameter rope designed for caving and canyoning, offers good handling and great durability.

  • Good flexibility and handling:
    - EVERFLEX treatment: special treatment and weave improve the rope's consistency; offers excellent grip and consistent handling over time
    - solid handling: thanks to its structure and diameter, the CLUB rope allows excellent control of the descent and is therefore adapted to all levels of user
  • Great durability:
    - diameter and structure favor durability
    - remains flexible to help improve durability
    - length includes a margin to compensate for rope shrinkage during the first uses
  • Great variety of uses:
    - for caving, canyoning and installation of a fixed rope
    - comes ready to use thanks to the ClimbReady coil, identification of the rope's Middle Mark and the UltraSonic Finish on the rope ends
  • Available in orange
